Capel Rugs turns 100-years-old in 2017 and shows no signs of slowing down. Inspired by a desire to bring high-quality, customized rugs to customers quickly and at affordable prices, Capel Rugs and Coco of COCOCOZY, introduced Coco's Color Block-Courier Rugs at High Point Furniture Market, Fall 2017.

Coco's Color Block Courier Rug Collection along with new introductions from Williamsburg and Kevin O'Brien in partnership with Capel Rugs will be on display at Capel's anchor showroom, 305 West High Street, Suite 112.

Color Block-Courier, as well as the entire COCOCOZY rug line with Capel Rugs, is performing quite well. In addition, Coco was just named to the Forbes list of top ten influencers in the Home category.

Aspiring bloggers, take note. Coco began blogging incognito twice a day in 2008. "Consistency and mystery are what I attribute to my blog taking off, and I enjoyed sharing with friends and family my ideas about fashion, decorating, and textile design," says Coco.

Even in a high-tech world, designers like Coco still enjoy hand drawing designs, even for the Color Block-Courier concept. "I'm inspired by nature, architecture, fashion, and color patterns in general. I brought my ideas to Capel, and they helped translate them into fabulous rugs. It's the design-manufacturing partnership that makes it all work," Coco notes.

Coco's Color Block-Courier Rugs – How it works

Buyers can pick from twelve colors and a host of combinations in a multitude of rectangular sizes up to 15'x20'. Add a stripe or go solid, either way, Capel delivers in less than 90 days.

According to Cameron Capel, VP of National Accounts, "It took months to sort out everything from the colors and construction to quick delivery turn-around, but in the end, we were thrilled with the high-end, heathered look that typically costs thousands of dollars to produce."

The 5' x 8' rug retails for $799.
Coco's Color Block-Courier style is a wool rug in a flat-woven construction that fits transitional, casual, or contemporary design tastes. Capel's partners in India produce these rugs.
