National members of the Interior Design Society were selected to share some of their High Point Market favorites from within IMC properties. Each designer has carefully curated products that he or she plans to use in an upcoming project or can’t stop swooning over (or maybe a bit of both)! This fall's featured designers are Alan Gravley, Beginning to End Interiors, Sarasota, FL; Jeremy Bauer & Jason Clifton, Bauer Clifton Interiors, Juneau, AK; Katharine Rhudy, Reed & Acanthus Antiques and Interiors, New Canaan, CT; Lisa Sorenson Floyd, Baker Design Group, Dallas, TX; Staci Steidley, Studio Steidley, Dallas, TX; and Tracy Davis, Urban Dwellings, Portland, ME
Studio Steidley creates fresh, serene spaces inspired by the beauty of nature. Layering this with the simplicity of modern and timeless elements creates a dreamy space to call home.
Alan’s philosophy is, “When a project is completed, it should be as if I was never there. A home should reflect the owner — not the designer.” His approach is to create a clean, clutter-free and organic space, with good use of neutral colors (blues and greens) so that the important pieces will lead you through the home.
Katharine's philosophy centers around the belief that one's home should be an oasis in which to live, relax and entertain, all the while, incorporating the personality of the owner. Working with both contemporary and traditional pieces, she likes to mix the unique with the personal or unexpected - like a family heirloom or a piece collected while traveling.
Jeremy Bauer & Jason Clifton
Design duo, Jeremy Bauer and Jason Clifton of Bauer/Clifton Interiors, deliver unique projects reflective of their clients’ values and lifestyle. The casual refinement of their designs blends modern living with classic details that epitomize the warmth of Pacific Northwest styling.
Lisa Sorenson Floyd
Good design leaves everyone with feeling. It speaks to your life, to your business, to your preferences and your personality, leaving both the designer and the client proud to call it their own.
Tracy A. Davis grasps design from a variety of angles: as the founder of Urban Dwellings, a Portland based Interior Architectural Practice; as an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID); and as an owner of a boutique design shop, offering her sophisticated eye as she curates an array of elements for the home.
