Go Home, Light and Living Are Among New Lines Debuting

High Point, N.C. (October 15, 2013) — In order to create a more compelling and effective shopping experience for buyers searching for home accessories while at High Point Market, International Market Centers (IMC) is pleased to debut the first phase of a re-merchandising strategy for IHFC’s Accessory floors at Fall 2013 High Point Market, which runs October 19-24. As part of this initiative there are some notable expansions, relocations, and new resources joining the mix of accessory showrooms in IHFC.

The conveniently located IHFC Accessory floors—on Floors 2, 3 and 4—are devoted solely to the accessory categories, including rugs, lighting, wall art, decorative accessories, and every other finishing touch for the home. The showrooms on these floors offer products in all styles and price-points—ultimately creating a destination of more than 200 lines for home décor buyers.

“The accessory floors in IHFC are always a great place to see what’s trending in our industry in color, style and materials as they typically appear first in home accent lines because consumers can change out these items more frequently as trends and their taste evolve over time,” said Lee Hershberg, vice president of home décor leasing for International Market Centers. “These three accessory floors in IHFC have always been some of the most popular areas at High Point Market due to the depth and range of available products. This market, we expect that the new mix of accessory showrooms will add even greater ease and vitality to these already product-packed floors—giving buyers more options to shop like-minded vendors whether that’s by category, style or price point.”

Among the notable changes to the IHFC floors: the second floor of the Design Wing, Global Views is expanding into a new 17,000 square foot showroom and GoHome is opening a new permanent showroom to supplement its offering in InterHall. New to the third floor this market are PictureSource and Kenroy, and Karastan is expanding its third floor showroom.  Accessories by Sherwood is moving to a new showroom on the fourth floor, joining Ultimate Accents in its new expanded location, Yosemite in an expanded showroom, and the new GreenLeaf Art showroom, among others. The fourth floor will also feature a new corridor to provide better access to the showrooms on this floor. Light and Living will debut this market offering European designed, on-trend lighting and accent furniture at an affordable price point.
