“We’re excited to roll-out this program in High Point after a successful April Las Vegas Market debut,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC’s chief customer and marketing officer. “Market Pros covers the breadth and depth of High Point Market’s home furnishings offerings, shares real-time product previews and offers need-to-know tips from industry thought leaders located across the country.”

The June 2021 Market Pros lineup includes Barry Goralnick of Barry Goralnick (@Barry.goralnick) in New York City; Cachet Adams of Cachet Demaine Interiors (@catchet.demaine.interiors) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Emily Stallings of Stallings Studio (@Stallingsstudio) in Charleston, South Carolina; Janelle Hughes & Kim Williams of KJ Design and Mortar Styling LLC (@kjdesignandmortarstyling) in Baltimore; Joy Williams of Joyful Designs Studio (@joyfuldesignsstudio) in Chicago; Kelly Finley of Joy Street Design (@joystreetdesign) in Oakland; Neecy Patton of Creative Redesign by Neecy (@creative.redesign.by.neecy) in New York City; Tiffany White of MIDCITY DESIGN GROUP (@midcitydesigngroup) in Houston; and Traci Connell of Traci Connell Interiors (@Traciconnellinteriors) in Dallas.

To help with pre-market preparation, each of the nine Market Pros have provided three suggestions to improve the market experience. The tips, which are published on the IMC High Point Market website and will be posted on social media leading up to market, include market essentials from wearing comfortable shoes to planning mood boards and preparing for market by conducting vendor research and pre-scheduling at-market appointments.

“Prior to arriving at market, think through your goals for this visit,” Finley offers. “Is this a client sourcing trip, a trip to stay on top of current trends, or just an inspiration trip? Based on your goals, you can then determine how you want to tackle the trip and create a plan to achieve it.”

“Find out who’s going to be where and when - then be there,” Goralnick suggests. “You’ll get more out of your time if you make a plan. Check the schedule for events, book signings, talks and designer appearances. Designers love meeting the creative talents from around the country who specify their products.”

During market, the Market Pros will feature their favorite finds and trends on the @DesignOnHPMkt Instagram. The schedule includes Joy Williams on Saturday, June 5; Cachet Adams on Sunday, June 6; Traci Connell on Monday, June 7; Emily Stallings on Tuesday, June 8; Kelly Finley on Wednesday, June 9; Tiffany White on Thursday, June 10; Barry Goralnick on Friday, June 11; Janelle Hughes & Kim Williams on Saturday, June 12; and Neecy Patton on Sunday, June 13.
