InterHall Expanding and Adding 7 New Exhibitors

HIGH POINT, N.C. (Tuesday, April 16, 2013) – For the upcoming High Point Market, April 20-25, InterHall in IHFC is expanding and adding seven new companies. The 2,242 square feet expansion allowed both Regina-Andrew Designs and Selamat Designs  to expand their showrooms, bringing the total square footage of InterHall to more than 82,000 square feet. InterHall is well-known for showcasing some of the best fashion-forward furniture and decorative accessories available. New exhibitors in InterHall this market include Aellon, COUEF, Emporium Home LLC, Europe2You, Fine Furniture Design, Kindel Furniture Company and Wilcox.

    Aellon IH212

A sustainable furniture company from Brooklyn, New York,

Aellon designs and builds contemporary home furnishings

from reclaimed and sustainably harvested materials. Everything

is handmade, each piece bearing the marks of the craftsman’s

work and the material’s history. Theirs is an adventure story as

Aellon seeks out craft cultures around the world, discovering

discarded materials that are repurposed into high-quality

furniture. Their inaugural collection is a perfect example. On a

surf trip to Indonesia, the founders came upon a 45-year-old

shipwreck, a boat called “Grace.” She was reborn into their new

collection, The Grace Line. The company now works with local

reclaimed wood distributors and with sustainably harvested

woods to continue to produce this and future collections

    indefi nitely.

    COUEF IH200

Chair, Ottoman, Upholstered, End Table, Furniture, or COUEF,

is an inventive line of furniture and accessories encompassing

quality, sophistication and usable features in every piece.

Handcrafted in the USA and moderately priced, COUEF is

timeless design with a twist. Designer Jamie Schachtel has now

expanded on her original vision, offering an inspired collection

of ottomans, benches, pillows and throws – a grouping that is

high-design and high-utility. Think function, as in ottomans with

pull-out shelves. And think array of styles and tastes: woven

pleathers, wool fabrics, traditional terry, nail heads, buttons,

rich chocolates and stark whites. This season signals a change

in color scheme, styles, shapes and materials.

    Emporium Home IH202

Emporium Home has become an emerging resource for highstyle

home furnishings, embracing gracious living in a chic,

modern way. With a product line that includes case goods,

upholstery, accent furniture, lighting, mirrors, wall art and soft

goods, the company is blazing new trails in a category they call

“Chic Transitional.” The two-year-old, Little Rock, Arkansas-based

Emporium Home has established a manufacturing presence

across the globe with locations in India, China, Vietnam,

Indonesia, as well as domestically. These relationships allow

the company to achieve its aim of bringing to the home luxe

lifestyle products that embody fashion and add a sexy edge to

the environments they inhabit, all while hitting mid- to highprice

points. The company is proud to connect with buyers in

search of a new source for chic, inspired products.

    Europe2You IH305

Inspired to share with American consumers the spirit of their

distinctive European fi nds, Stacy and Joe Borocz launched

their company Europe2You 10 years ago. With headquarters

in Atlanta, Georgia, and Budapest, Hungary, the company

specializes in tabletop, vintage accents and accessories,

antique and refurbished furniture and sustainable products.

19th Century European architecture and the intact backdrop of

Budapest inform much of their offering in a merchandising mix

that includes found glass and wood objects, found furniture and

pottery, vintage linens and baskets, and architectural elements

salvaged from buildings across the European continent. Price

points are accessible and the offering is anything but ordinary.

The company is thrilled to show their line to retailers and the

design trade. No doubt the feeling will be mutual.

    Fine Furniture Design IH112

Furniture pioneer and mogul Larry Moh founded Fine Furniture

Design in 2000 with the intention of providing consumers with

luxurious, quality furniture at a great value. Since then, the

company has continued to focus on designing fi ne furniture,

case goods, upholstery and accents that refl ect the tastes and

desires of real people. What began as a vision has become an

international company applying the best of their experience in

the world of fi ne furniture manufacturing. Experienced furniture

people are part of this company, as are seasoned service

professionals. Investment in raw materials, exquisite woods

and innovative manufacturing systems and logistics ensures

they deliver impeccable service to match the high-quality

    furniture they manufacture.

    Kindel Furniture Company IH201

Kindel’s ability to make furniture that is both relevant and

timeless is the reason the company has one of the longest

and most storied histories in the United States. The last

residential furniture manufacturer remaining in Grand Rapids,

Michigan, the one-time “Furniture City,” Kindel was founded

in 1901. Every day for 112 years they have handcrafted luxury

furniture with an emphasis on hand-select veneers, benchmade

    methods, hand-carving, hand-painting and hand-rubbed

fi nishes. Their reputation for beautiful veneers and superior

execution is unsurpassed as their classic designs touch all the

key categories – dining, bedroom, occasional and upholstery.

All pieces are 100% domestically produced from a single

factory. They welcome all to their new, carefully curated space

    in IHFC’s InterHall.

    Wilcox IH401

Arriving from Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California,

artist, designer and founder of Natural Curiosities – Art House,

Christopher Wilcox brings an entirely new and vibrant collection

to Market. Inspired by his life in California, Wilcox gathers the

artwork and assorted elements that refl ect the vitality of an

emerging lifestyle movement. The Collection captures the edgy,

creative energy of Christopher’s daily life in the studio with an

amazing team of free-spirited, bohemian individuals.
