    For Immediate Release

Leggett & Platt’s Fashion Bed Group Nearly Tripling Showroom Space
Joins Newcomer PureCare® and 24 other Bedding Companies for April High Point Market

High Point, NC – (March 30, 2015) – Iconic bedding accessory company Fashion Bed Group, part of  Leggett & Platt, is nearly tripling the size of their exhibit space at High Point Market this spring, showcasing their complete line of bedding accessory products across more than 13,700 square feet of space on the 11th floor of the International Home Furnishings building (IHFC H1141).  A sleep technology pioneer, and the largest bedding mechanism manufacturer in the world, Leggett & Platt first introduced its bedspring more than 125 years ago.

“As we expand our product offering beyond bedding accessories, we saw an opportunity to showcase the complete scope of our product portfolio,” said John Case, Fashion Bed Group president. “With the introduction in the last year of some very innovative products in each category of our company, we simply needed more space to properly demonstrate our breadth and depth. High Point Market has been good to us for many years – we have been showing here since 1994 in the IHFC building. It’s important for us to have a consistent presence.”

Joining Fashion Bed Group this market is PureCare, an innovative manufacturer of mattress and pillow protectors, sheets, mattress toppers and pillows with a focus on health and wellness – ideal for allergy sufferers. PureCare, who will occupy 2,600 square feet on the 5th floor of the IHFC building (IHFC M-531), is the official mattress and pillow protector manufacturer for the National Sleep Foundation.

“We’re pleased to offer buyers and furniture retailers looking for bedding in High Point with a range of options to fulfill their customers’ needs,” said Julie Messner, senior vice president for furniture leasing for International Market Centers. “High Point is an established destination for the furniture industry; this is where meetings are held and many of the major deals are signed. Furniture companies want to augment their product offering with bedding options and they can find everything from traditional to technologically advanced bedding here. We have a great mix of the top names in the bedding industry along with up-and-comers – it’s an ideal combination of resources.”
