MADE IN AMERICA PAVILION GROWS STRONGER FEATURING MORE THAN 50 DOMESTIC COMPANIES

33 New Exhibitors to Debut in the USA-Made Pavilion

HIGH POINT, N.C. (October 2, 2013) – The Made in America Pavilion is back and more diverse than ever, returning for the Fall 2013 High Point Market, running October 19-24. The Made in America Pavilion is a special area devoted solely to domestically produced goods and will showcase a total of 60 exhibitors in 25,000 square feet, with about half of the companies showing for the first time.

The Made in America Pavilion, once again located on the first (top) floor of the Suites at Market Square, showcases a diverse mix of domestically produced product, including case goods, upholstery, rugs, wall art, decorative accessories, and more.

“As consumer demand for domestically-produced products has grown, so has the Made in America Pavilion, which was launched just two years ago. This market we have 33 new exhibitors in the Pavilion, and more than 50 domestic resources for buyers to shop. This is the one place at High Point Market where you will find a collection of product across all categories, all produced in the USA,” says Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers, which operates the Suites at Market Square.

“For many retailers and designers, offering domestically-produced merchandise has moved from a trend in the marketplace to an absolute expectation by their customers to present American-made options. This carefully dedicated area in the Suites at Market Square allows that sourcing to happen effortlessly,” added Messner. “And while these suppliers may share an “American-made story,” the products that buyers will find here are truly unique and offer a more global sensibility. The broad range of companies in terms of styles, design and price point is really exceptional.”
