High Point, N.C. (October 14, 2013) — High Point Market’s trend-setting showcase for the hottest and hippest furnishings — the SALON area — will feature 14 new exhibitors for the Fall 2013 High Point Market, running October 19-24.

SALON is a centrally located destination on the ground floor of Market Square & Suites, with a recent expansion to the mezzanine level on the second floor. The upstairs area is easily accessed by an escalator located in the center of SALON, just behind Market Square Café/Starbucks.

“SALON is the destination to see what’s fresh in High Point. Some of the newest, most eclectic and fashion-forward furnishings across a wide range of styles and product categories can be found at SALON,” said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers. “Cutting-edge retailers, lifestyle stores and interior designers will not want to miss a visit to SALON to see some of the most creative and compelling lines at market.”

Launched in April 2010, SALON is a presentation of masterfully designed furnishings presented in a curated environment. This market, SALON features a total of 56 exhibitors, offering a comprehensive selection of furniture, lighting, rugs, wall art, home textiles and decorative accessories.

This market, some of the hottest new lines in SALON will include—to name a few—purveyor Aidan Gray Home, with its nod to Mid-Century Modern; Mitchell Black, whose line is all the buzz in the industry after their recent launch of fresh wall décor, fine stationery, and tabletop; the highly unique custom candelabra and sconce designs by the fashionable Dunes & Duchess; and Stray Dog Designs, a fun and funky lighting and housewares line made of recycled glass.
