Designing professionally since 2001, her passion for interiors & interior products makes creating beautiful spaces for clients her true dream career. Inspired by traveling, the arts, family & friends, she approaches each day as a learning opportunity & a way to enrich her life as a designer. Shay is mostly known for her use of color, pattern & texture - which is to create an inviting atmosphere that reflects the personal taste & lifestyle of each client. Since 2006, Shay has been the design expert for WFAA’s “Good Morning Texas.” She is the editor of IBB Design’s custom quarterly magazine, IBB at Home, that is distributed to more than 20,000 households. Shay was selected as one of five distinguished design talents to create the Portfolio by Nourison high-end area rug collection. Portfolio by Nourison, and also has her own collection, The Shay Geyer Fabric Collection, which debuted in 2017. Shay has received many honors including: Traditional Home 2018 Hampton Designer Showhouse Designer, Traditional Home 2017 Dallas Decorators Showhouse Designer and a Colorista for Whyte & Company’s line of custom sinks. She is also a member of IFDA and ART, and serves on the Dwell with Dignity Advisory Board. Shay lives in Frisco, TX with her husband, two girls & three fur babies. In her free time, she loves entertaining & cooking for family & friends.
