Molly Kay, owner of MK Interiors, is an interior designer located in Northern Virginia. She is married to a talented General Contractor who builds custom homes and does remodels. While they work as a team many times, Molly Kay also has many design and decor projects on her own. With well over 100k followers on Instagram, Molly Kay enjoys sharing her deep and everlasting love affair with interior design with the world through social media. Although her personal style leans towards transitional/contemporary, there are no real concrete design rules for Molly Kay except to create a cohesive home that truly reflects her clients’ lifestyle using pieces they love. Regardless of whether it involves new construction or a major upgrade, the coming year presents an opportunity for hotel companies to capitalize on this fresh momentum in the travel industry by improving their image with customers. From the moment they walk into the lobby, guests begin to form an impression. As they check into their room, dine in the hotel restaurant, or take a dip in the pool, first impressions give way to decisions about whether to return to the same property in the future, or book a room elsewhere on their next trip.
Join Shane Jones, Allied ASID, Designer Account Executive, Charlotte/Greensboro Districts, as she goes into the details of flooring systems of kitchens, coatings on pool decks, how using the right coating can improve health and lower energy costs and much more.
Hospitality will be served.

In order to understand LED lighting, it is important to understand lighting metrics as a guide for the selection of LED products. As we move forward we will see more and more decorative fixtures where the LEDs are integrated into the fixture, and these fixtures will bring new and exciting shapes and forms to market. Ultimately we can create dynamic and beautiful spaces by using these fixtures as parts of a layering scheme where multiple fixtures are used to provide maximum flexibility. It’s an exciting time for lighting design as we consider the possibilities that LEDs offer for creative expressions.
