    Comprehensive Lineup of Seminars, Tours and Hospitality Events Scheduled for Spring 2020 High Point Market

    HIGH POINT, N.C. – (March 5, 2020) – International Market Centers (IMC) announced today an exclusive schedule of seminars, tours and hospitality offerings for Spring 2020 High Point Market, running April 25 – 29, 2020. Through nearly 40 seminars and events, IMC will offer buyers and designers the opportunity to network with peers, become educated on the latest industry trends and earn CEU credits.      Programming

    “IMC is proud to provide a broad range of interactive, educational and inspiring programming at Spring High Point Market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC chief marketing and digital officer. “Our seminars, events and social offerings are an added value to those who attend the world’s largest furnishings gathering this spring.”

    IMC’s Spring High Point Market educational offerings will feature 17 seminars and seven designer-led tours. The robust schedule allows retailers and designers to supplement their buying activities with complimentary, expert-led programming, encompassing trends, business strategies and forecasts. An additional 10 IMC-hosted social events, including complimentary breakfast and coffee, cocktail hours, and martini and dinner parties, will provide chances for relaxation and networking.

    Spring Market programming highlights include IMC’s proprietary TrendWatch: Spring 2020 program, which will give attendees an inside look at leading trends shaping the home furnishings industry; Sherwin-Williams Colormix® Forecast 2020, a look at this year’s color trends; Architectural Recessed Lighting for the Home, an in-depth look at LED lighting trends and their incorporation into design; and Sensory By Design, a discussion about wellness, incorporating senses into the home and more.

    Some of industry’s biggest names – Chad James, Charles Pavarini III, Keia McSwain, Jeremy Bauer and Jason Clifton, Niki McNeill and Mikel Welch - will lead guided product tours through some of IMC’s most popular High Point Market destinations, including the Suites at Market Square, C&D and the Hamilton Wrenn Design District. TrendWatch curator Julie Smith Vincenti also will lead a TrendWatch tour, which will visit the three displays - Suites at Market Square lobby, the walkway between IHFC and Showplace near the Transportation Terminal and the IHFC Green lobby.

    Marketgoers can attend IMC-hosted seminars in the Sherwin-Williams Seminar Room on the Top Floor of the Suites at Market Square and in the Alden Parkes Seminar Room in the Hamilton Wrenn Design District. Events and tours will be held in various IMC properties across campus.
