    New and Expanded Lines to Debut in Showplace at Fall High Point Market

    Product Introductions Include Furniture, Accessories, Fine Art, Rugs and Outdoor

    HIGH POINT, N.C. -  (September 22, 2017) — Showplace, a key destination for many Top 100 retailers, designers and buyers, will feature several new tenants and expanded showrooms on the exhibitor roster for fall High Point Market, Oct. 14 – 18, 2017.

    According to International Market Center representatives, new exhibitors debuting in October include Brayden & Brooks, Couristan Inc., John Beard Collection and Wexel Art Displays. Expanded showrooms include Euro Style, Star International Furniture and Uwharrie Chair Company.

    New for fall 2017

    Brayden & Brooks (SHOW 3446) is a family-run wholesale home decor company based in Magnolia, Texas. The line features one-of-a-kind canvas signs framed in a variety of repurposed vintage items including old windows and shutters from Holland.

    Couristan, Inc. (SHOW 2350) offers area rugs, residential carpeting and custom floor covering fashions. The company has been in business for more than 90-years.
    John Beard Collection (SHOW 3424) is bringing fine art, prints, photography, sculptures, organic wall hangings, area rugs, pillows and apparel to the High Point Market product mix. A lifestyle brand, John Beard Collection was founded and is curated by John and Molly Beard, veterans of market and the home furnishings industry.

    Wexel Art Displays (SHOW 2335) showcases art frames created with floating acrylic panels with pairs of magnets to hold art in place. The innovative design allows consumers to seamlessly change art displays in seconds.

    Showplace expansions


    Euro Style (SHOW 3200), Star International Furniture Inc. (SHOW 3148) and Uwharrie Chair Company (SHOW 2311) are debuting expanded showrooms at fall market. Eurø Style manufacturers and distributes RTA modern furniture and has factories in Italy and East Asia. Star International Furniture designs and imports fine contemporary bedroom, dining, occasional and office furniture for the residential and hospitality markets and has east and west coast distribution facilities. Uwharrie Chair’s unique outdoor furniture collections feature heavy, generously scaled products crafted from kiln-dried pressure treated southern yellow pine, an American renewable resource, or from Premium Uwharrie Polymer, which is manufactured from purified blends of post-consumer, pre consumer and/or virgin HDPE (high density polyethylene) base resins.

    In addition to the new and expanded showrooms, Showplace has five floors of permanent exhibitors and hundreds of product lines. Buyers can also enjoy complimentary refreshments at Showplace, sponsored by IMC-DesignOnHPMkt, including:
